Many people come into therapy because they are suffering in some way and want to feel better. This suffering can take many forms--low self-esteem, difficulty with relationships, illness, depression, excessive worry or anxiety, coping with loss, family problems, alcohol abuse, divorce, and other important issues. I will work with you to help alleviate suffering by identifying thinking patterns or behaviors that might be involved in preventing you from moving forward and/or by assisting you in creating coping skills to deal with challenging situations. , I am a seasoned, licensed clinical social worker trained to diagnosis and treat a broad range of conditions and issues. My style is nonjudgemental, supportive, and empathic. I combine psychodynamic, solution focused, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and mindfulness based therapies, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs and issues. , I enjoy working with adults and older adolescents.
