Despite being smart, hard-working, and loving supporters to their friends & family, many people struggle to care for themselves emotionally in daily life (especially when life gets hard). This may be due to burnout, depression, perfectionism, or loss. I help clients reflect on their life, past and present. We identify thought & behavior patterns that lead to feeling "stuck". Then, we rewrite an inner dialogue that is rooted in self-compassion, leading to healing, freedom, and more enjoyment of life. , I provide trauma-informed care as a standard, through both EMDR and talk therapy. Unacknowledged stress often leaves clients feeling "stuck" and ashamed. Through self-compassion, shame can be overcome, allowing us to move forward and pursue the kind of life we desire. , " It may seem like we dont have time to stop and reflect.
