Through gentle curiosity and warmth we will turn inwards and dive deeper while creating space to redefine painful emotions such as internalization and shame. At Heart in Hand Healing Arts we utilize a holistic approach to healing through both art therapy and counseling. , Art therapy is a helpful modality to explore trauma, shame, sadness and fear. Art nurtures exploration without language through metaphor allowing us to “zoom out” and explore with safety and intention. No special materials or experience is necessary! , Art making can occur both in and out of our session. All that is required is a quiet, private place to meet for our session and a device to meet for a telehealth video call.
