My upbringing led me to want to help others and work towards making the mental health system a better place. I earned my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from CCSU. working with individuals and viewing each person as part of a greater whole is the best way to work towards healing. , I grew up in a divorced family with mental illness, addiction, and domestic violence. As a child, I did not receive the appropriate mental health services and from then on I knew I wanted to make a difference and help others. I have battled anxiety and depression but have done my own healing through therapy. I hope to help you on your journey to healing.
