My primary focus is to help clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma related problems. I believe in a cooperative, open, results oriented approach to therapy where the client and I work as a team to identify and resolve problems. \n\nI believe in a comfortable environment where the interaction is both open and straight forward in which to foster a positive atmosphere for change. , I am not wed to a particular form of therapy as I believe in focusing on "what works" to help my clients make progress and move toward a healthy and happy life. I am trained in several types of therapeutic interventions and find that using a mixture of these interventions works extremely well. , I have extensive experience with PTSD treating victims of sexual abuse and as a staff psychologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Wash, DC treating soldiers returning from war. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treating trauma and other psychological issues , certified in telehealth .
