Comprehensive Psychiatric Care is an outpatient mental health facility that has served the Eastern Connecticut community for over 30 years. CPC is a team of multi-disciplinary mental health practitioners who work together to best serve the needs of our patients. Our staff are experienced, licensed, mental health clinicians who adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards. CPC clinicians are trained in a wide variety of therapeutic orientations including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic (insight orientated) therapy, & Child Centered Play therapy. . View 4 Photos, We provide a full range of therapeutic, psychopharmalogical, clinical research, and counseling services. We are able to serve children, aged 4-18, as well as adults and seniors at our facility. Our therapists also work with families and couples, and we can conduct clinical assessments which provide diagnostic clarification for treatment or referral purposes. , Additionally, we are the first outpatient site in Connecticut to offer TMS Neurostar services, a non-invasive treatment for individuals with Major Depressive Disorder who did not respond to anti-depressant medications. We have had excellent results using TMS for patients who did not respond to traditional treatment.
