Our way of live has been turned upside down. The structures of our community that ground, secure and orient us, have been hit by this pandemic. We find ourselves feeling disoriented and out of sorts. Others are grappling with not only the upending of routines caused by the pandemic but are fearing for their life or their livelihood. Whatever your situation, your life has been changed right now by something outside your control, and this is invariably stressful. And, of course, many of you were dealing with mental health issues or traumatic life events before the complication of a pandemic. , I believe that the biggest asset I possess as a therapist is my willingness to roll up my sleeves and meet you where you are — in the trenches, in your pain or stuckness. Together we can collaborate about your hurts, your dreams, your goals — your vision for a healthier you. I specialize in trauma and adverse life events as well as mindfulness practices. , Research shows that the most significant factor in a successful outcome is the relationship with your therapist.
