About Us

Tynea aspires to support clients through many avenues including: group facilitation, couples, family sessions and individual therapy. Tynea has experience supporting clients working through trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, postpartum depression, grief, and more. She also has experience as a co-occurring counselor and supported clients that suffered from both substance use disorders and a mental health disorder simultaneously. Tynea believes that everyone should feel support when they express challenging and traumatic experiences; regardless what capacity of therapy they are receiving. , Tynea primarily uses a person centered approach. This approach demonstrates complete support, empathy, and acceptance for all people. As well as listening without judgement, and encouraging and aiding the client as they explore underlying issues. She also uses CBT, DBT, MI and ACT approaches. , Tynea wants you to know that therapy is a process, and there is no set time frame for anyone because everyone heals differently. Tynea does not assume, but rather she dives deep to ensure she explores underlying issues with all clients.
