Many of us, myself included, lose touch with this inner part, and fumble about in the world, lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected. My purpose as a therapist is to reinforce and coax this safe space within you back home to yourself. , Therapy is truly only functional when both therapist and client feel a connection and build on that connection through therapeutic alliance.
