About Us

Many people considering therapy feel conflicted. People fear they may encounter a familiar need to censor themselves even with a therapist. People sometimes think their problems don’t merit the attention of a professional and that they should be able to sort it out on their own. These fears are especially true of the most ubiquitous and normal struggles Americans face today; anxiety, depression and addiction. I provide space for people to relax, to talk, to lay everything out on the table. I work with people to know themselves better, to improve their relationship with their own nature, and to formulate solutions to problems. , Life is too short to live it in anxiety, sadness, or anger; too precious to squander on bad relationships. I want you to enjoy a peaceful mind, to cope with emotional distress, and to deal with struggles in a way that makes you feel proud. I want to help you enjoy a sense of meaning and purpose in all arenas of your life. , Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a stay-at-home mom for my three (now adult children), a military spouse (now retired), and a Marine Officer. As a therapist for eight years I provide traditional counseling services as well as non-medical coaching services around health, wealth, career, and parenting.
