I help folks identify, access, and more effectively use their strengths and resilience - even under incredibly difficult and complex circumstances. Clients come to my practice to find alternatives to patterns and behaviors that are no longer working, to heal from traumas, explore identity, navigate transitions, and get unstuck. I work with teens, young adults, and adults who want real change, more support, effective boundaries, and honest connection in their lives using a social justice counseling framework that is client-defined, trauma-informed and strengths-based. , I value a therapeutic relationship that is solid, ethical, and rests on a foundation of understanding, acceptance, and inclusivity. I am transparent with clients about what we are doing and why, supporting a genuinely collaborative experience. As a somatic psychotherapist, I address real-time mind and body states to facilitate effective, lasting change. , I specialize in working with: (1) people who have experienced acute and/or complex trauma and have overwhelming or confusing body/mind experiences; (2) the LGBTQ+ community, including letters for HRT; (3) teens/young adults navigating life; (4) people living with chronic illnesses; and (5) people healing from religious or cult-related trauma.
