I enjoy working with clients who are interested in gaining further insight into patterns in their life and who hope to feel empowered to make changes. I believe that times of transition in life, while usually stressful, also provide immense opportunities for growth. I consider it a privilege to work with clients during these times in life and to help them use their resilience as a tool. Some examples of transition periods in life include, but are not limited to: start or end of relationships, death of a loved one, moving, career changes, starting or finishing college, birth of a child, marriage, or divorce. , Deciding to come to therapy can be a difficult decision; one that takes courage and often comes with some anxiety and ambiguity about what the process will entail. It is my belief that the foundation for a positive experience in therapy begins with the therapeutic relationship. , Establishing a base of trust and rapport from which to grow as we work towards your goals will be the initial focus of treatment. It is important for you to feel comfortable with me; I will do my best to facilitate that process and to be transparent about what you can expect from therapy.
