About Us

Making the decision to begin therapy takes a lot of courage. With this understanding, I take a supportive approach with clients by using their strengths as a central part of the process. I work with clients of all ages and especially enjoy working on issues such as depression, anxiety, family difficulties, self-esteem, trauma and attachment difficulties. I have over 20 years of clinical experience and have worked in outpatient, inpatient and day treatment settings. ***Please note that as of 9/2021 my practice is currently full. , I often use EMDR with clients to help them to work on their treatment goals. EMDR is a fast and effective therapy modality that helps clients to process and work through the "stuck" memories and experiences. In addition, as of June 2021 I am trained in Brainspotting and also use that intervention to client become "unstuck". , I feel that it is important to engage clients in therapy by incorporating their interests into the process and by having a little fun. I sometimes use art, music, sand tray and games to help clients express their feelings, wants, needs and fears.
