My personal philosophy revolves around the belief that counseling is a profound and transformative journey rooted in the establishment of a strong and empathetic relationship. At the core of this philosophy is the conviction that individuals thrive in an environment where they feel genuinely loved and safe. This secure foundation serves as a catalyst for personal exploration and growth. Everyone enters into therapy with different needs and concerns. I believe therapy is the process of deep wounds turning into scars. Hope can seem like a distant aspiration in that process. I am prepared to hold that hope until we can find it together , I draw upon neurobiological concepts and developmental research to guide this transformational process with the best fit counseling techniques. I utilize a psychodynamic approach while weaving together CBT techniques, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused inventions to create a holistic and personalized treatment plan for the client. , Therapy works because there are two real humans sitting across from one another. As someone who has worked with active duty soldiers and veterans in the clinical setting I understand the painful reality that this life can have. I also know that while the process may be hard, healing is possible. You are worthy of living a full and abundant life.
