I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship distress, difficult transition, school/work issues, low self-esteem, and addiction. Although I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, I incorporate techniques from several different theories depending on the clients’ personality and circumstances. I work with clients to hear their concerns without judgment and to explore ways to achieve emotional growth, develop skills, and achieve desired changes. , In addition to my work in my private practice, I have experience working in community-based mental health, law enforcement, integrated healthcare, school settings, and inpatient facilities, where I have provided individual therapy, facilitated counseling groups, and provided clinical supervision to master’s level students. , Therapy can be intimidating, especially for those who have not been in therapy before or are nervous to start with someone new.
