I am pleased to be accepting new clients. As a mature therapist, I bring my history of life experiences, insights gained through my own personal journey of healing and my 20 years of living life in recovery. , Addiction is a “soul sickness". It is our attempt to fill the hole in our souls, that for many of us, was created in our childhood. We seek relief, albeit temporary with alcohol, prescription medications, marijuana and illicit drugs. We also seek to find comfort in gambling, compulsive shopping and food. We are seeking comfort in an uncomfortable world. , Sadly, our relief is only temporary. Through therapy we find our path to sustained happiness and freedom. Asking for help is one of the most difficult and courageous things we will do in our lives. Our longest journey begins with the first step.
