My passion for counseling stems from my belief in the resiliency and strength of the human spirit and the possibility for meaningful change. As your counselor, I feel my purpose is to meet everyone where they are right here and right now. How I work on achieving this by providing an open, safe and supportive atmosphere to work with you. I enjoy working with adult individuals and couples in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. , My counseling approaches are informed by a humanistic person-centered perspective. Humanistic/experiential counseling puts emphasis on healing through the therapeutic relationship and awareness of self. Through strengthening this relationship and awareness a counselor provides empathy, genuiness, support as well as bringing focus to the here and now. , " People do the best that they can and we all have the potential to be our best selves.
