Hello! I bring almost 30 years experience working in the Aspen area providing a variety of services for children, adolescents, adults and families. My passion is being able to connect with each person individually to uncover their strengths while providing a safe and naturing environment to assist them in reaching their goals. I am just a guide, only you know your story and through therapy a new narrative can emerge. I am experienced in treating mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, grief, life transitions and stressors. There is hope and you can feel better. It is never too late. , My approach to counseling comes from a holistic, relational, and dynamic therapeutic perspective, incorporating theoretical concepts from attachment theory, neuroscience, and mindfulness to support treating the whole system. I believe that the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational health of each person is intimately intertwined. , My strengths-based perspective from advanced trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Traumatic Grief have prepared me to support you in your healing process.
