I am a individual adult counselor and PACT trained couple/marriage therapist. Psychotherapy is a journey of self-exploration, self-discovery and self-awareness. My approach centers around a belief in the healing and transformative power of mindfulness, and mind-body awareness. With guidance and support, these tools lead to freedom, joy, the manifestation of your natural talents and gifts, and your true voice. I offer a supportive, compassionate style, and a strong, steady, presence for our work together; I also skillfully and precisely challenge the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I have worked with individuals, couples & families for over 20 years, drawing on my training in Gestalt, attachment, mindfulness, body-centered approaches & neuroscience , " I am rooted in my own longstanding meditation practice, providing a reliable ground for the therapeutic process. I am also an experienced meditation instructor, father, and facilitate mens retreats and parenting classes.
