About Us

Hello, my name is Stefanie and I have over 12 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families within the social work field, and currently as a clinical certified counsellor. I am client-focused and collaboratively work together in partnership with you towards alleviating concerns and promoting overall wellness. Counselling and Psychotherapy offers a safe place to examine multiple perspectives and opportunities to edit and re-author your personal stories and outlook on yourself and the world. In addition, your feelings of safety and comfort are of utmost importance when setting up an effective therapeutic relationship. , My experience with clients covers diverse issues such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, ADHD, relationship violence, trauma, life transitions (i.e., separations and divorce, empty nest, grief, relationship issues). I have both personal and professional experience with reproductive trauma (i.e., fertility challenges and treatment, pregnancy loss). , As the current world appears chaotic, it is important to find personalized meaning and celebrate our successes to support wellness. I use both trauma and strength informed approaches and believe that on-going assessment and feedback within therapy is important in order to track progress and fine tune interventions to maximize counselling effectiveness.
