I am deeply committed to understanding what brings each of my clients to see me. I value and respect my clients’ vulnerability in sharing intimate and often painful details of their life with a stranger. My journey in mental health began in my prior career as a Registered Nurse, where I worked with a diverse range of clients in hospital and in the community. I encountered such complexity of emotion, from beautiful to heartbreaking, that I developed a passion for the human experience. , My goals in therapy are to foster resilience and healing in a manner that balances gentle compassion with gentle challenge. It is very important to me that my clients feel able to speak openly and candidly with me as we explore their lives and challenges.
