" I work mostly with women, children and families so that they can move forward with their lives. Healing occurs when we address the whole person - mind, spirit, body and emotions - because these elements dont work in isolation. My graduate training focused on family systems work, and to that I have added numerous post-graduate trainings that enrich my practice, and thus my ability to help you. I have also worked extensively in the First Nations community for over 20 years in the Cowichan Valley and the North Island - I’m an approved FNHA counsellor. ", I have been trained in sand tray therapy, which is a powerful, indirect way of processing trauma for children. I am also certified in Somatic Experiencing, which is a body-centred psychotherapy that works with the nervous system to help people access tools to help them feel calmer and more in control of their lives. , I have a private practice in Campbell River, and would love to sit down and chat about how to best support you in working through current challenges in your life.
