About Us

Jenny, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC 10525) has a warm, genuine, and engaging approach as she joins each individual on their journey, striving for emotional health and harmonious relationships. She views counselling as a "partnership" with each person to ensure her flexible therapeutic approach fits their needs and unique circumstances. Jenny collaborates with both individuals and families to address anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, family and marital relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, among other issues. She has specialized training in EMDR, DBT, and Expressive Arts (Play) Therapy. , She is an eclectic counsellor who draws from a number of therapeutic models including Expressive Arts (Play) Therapy, Family Systems, Mindful CBT, DBT, and Solution-focused therapies. As a Christian, she comes from a spiritual focus for individuals requesting this but is glad to counsel any person regardless of their personal world view or spirituality. , Jenny had graduated with her Masters of Counselling degree in 2002 from Trinity Western University. Besides previous years of experience as Child and Youth Mental Health Therapist with MCFD, she has had additional experience as a mom, college educator, social worker, foster parent, and consultant. Registrations include ICBC , Autism Funding, FNHA and CVAP.
