I’m Jayla, the counsellor behind Yarrow Counselling. With diverse experience with government and social agencies, I’ve worked with children, teenagers, families, and adults. Currently, I see individuals 12 and up in my practice.\n\nMy approach is client-centered, honouring the wisdom and strength you bring to the process. I believe every person is unique, resilient, and capable of growth.\n , I am trauma-informed and integrative in my approach, drawing primarily from person-centered, narrative, somatic, and internal family systems therapies. I’m also receiving training in EMDR and look forward to offering it soon. Understanding that everyone has unique needs, I tailor my approach to fit you. , Grounded in a systemic perspective, I consider both your individual experiences and the broader social factors shaping your life.
