Born and raised in Alberta, James felt drawn to the culture and beauty of the West Coast. He currently resides in Victoria, and with the loving support of his wife they are raising two boys into young men. He takes an action-oriented, outcome-focused approach to his clinical work with clients, with a preference for working with motivated individuals and families that want to see genuine change in their quality of life and interpersonal relationships. Providing a compassionate yet direct and authentic environment for his clients while creating practical paths forward is a primary component of James’ practice. , James holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Education. He uses a variety of empirically-supported modalities to support his clients. His areas of interest are in helping people led better more fulfilling lives though he enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life.
