My approach to counselling is to create a meaningful connection and a safe space where you can engage in self exploration, free of judgement, through person centred, and trauma-informed approaches. In a world of information overload, I try to slow it down and explore inner thoughts and sensations that dont always have the opportunity to express themselves, while also looking for patterns along the way to help make sense of it all. I view you as the expert in your life, and my job is to ask you the right questions and help you reflect. ", My educational background of a Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology allowed me to further understand how our brain and body develop and impact one another. I appreciate a holistic approach, as I firmly believe that our mental health and physical health are intricately woven and connected to one another. , My focus is on assisting people in tending to their relationships, both within themselves and with the external world.
