My name is Doug Hilton. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I have been working full-time as a therapist for over 30 years. I love to help people. I have worked with people of all ages and a variety of issues, but I often work with trauma and addictions. I also specialize in marriage and family counselling. , Using EMDR in combination with somatic approaches, I can help people to heal the areas in their lives where they feel stuck or held back by experiences from their past. , I also use hypnosis and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to help people learn how to move toward their goals. I also use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which is a personality inventory that helps people understand themselves and others.
