I use cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based methods to help people who struggle with unpleasant feelings, problem behaviors, or under-functioning. Im a huge fan of ACT Therapy, which helps you to notice and disentangle from unhelpful thoughts, notice and accept diffiuclt feelings, orient to the present moment and commit to actions that move you towards what you want in life - towards your values! ", I am formally trained in ACT, CBT and interpersonal-psychodynamic therapy. I provide psycho-educational, developmental and diagnostic assessments for ADHD, FASD, ASD and intellectual disabilities. I also assess persons who want to understand their profile, improve functioning, and be more effective in moving towards their goals and values. , My strengths lie in establishing trust and mutual respect within a comfortable and non-judgmental therapy environment. I have particular skills in treating ADHD in motivated adolescents and adults, and in treating anxiety issues in persons of all ages.
