I understand that life experiences are not always in our control and I strive to help those that have experienced moments that left them feeling empty, hopeless, and less than what they truly are. I aspire to help those realize that the past does not have to define the future. We are not our trauma. We are not our past. We are who we choose to become. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and licensed in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy that is carefully designed to meet the specific needs of those that I serve. , My therapy sidekick is named Boone! He is a year old Aussiedoodle that loves to make sure you feel loved & secure. He has been by my side as my "co-therapist" since he was 14 weeks old.
