About Us

I have over 20 years’ experience with adoptive families, children, and attachment. I am passionate about helping family, parents, and children navigate BIG changes in healthy ways. I understand first hand, being a parent of 6 beautiful adopted children myself, the challenges, emotions, fears, and successes that can come up along the way. I am skilled in attachment & view this as critical to understanding how people develop and navigate relationships. I consider myself an expert in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and can spot these symptoms and behaviors in both children and adults. Early intervention is KEY to successful outcomes. , I serve with None for Nine Task Force working to reduce and educate about alcohol consumption during pregnancy, hypnosis, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping, and Triumph Parenting. I am skilled in single incident to complex trauma and TF-CBT, EMDR and several parenting programs. , Having a child with FAS, I have spent over 15 years researching, navigating resources, and advocating not only for my own child but others with disabilities in IEP, 504 plans, and disability rights. Having DCFS experience, I can help you navigate “the system” and connect you to resources to increase success within the process.
