I am specially trained for working with adult clients (18 and older) who are struggling with or in recovery from eating disorders (including co-occurring diagnoses). I also serve clients whose lives are affected by someone with an eating disorder. It is common for people who have had an eating disorder, to find that transitions challenge their recovery process, so I find fulfillment in supporting people who are navigating life transitions: tackling the college experience, embarking on a new career, becoming a parent, empty-nesting, or encountering a less-expected transition such as grief or a relationship ending. , A therapeutic relationship must be built on warmth, empathy, genuineness, unconditional regard and trust. Using a HAES philosophy, I employ evidence-based techniques to tailor my approach to help you understand how your concerns developed and what is perpetuating them.
