I enjoy working with a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have a particular passion for working with young people transitioning from adolescence into college through their emergence into young adulthood. I also find great reward in working with clients who have complex backgrounds with long histories of chronic psychological distress and relationship problems. , I have over 15 years experience treating problems such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma-related stress, relationship problems, parent-child relationship difficulties, and early childhood behavior problems. I also offer longer-term treatments for substance use concerns, complex and chronic PTSD, and personality disorders. , I offer highly skilled, personalized individual psychotherapy, working to tailor my treatment approach for each person based on their needs and abilities. I use a sensitive, interpersonal approach to build a strong therapeutic relationship in which safety and trust may be established as an important foundation for a positive psychotherapeutic experience.
