About Us

The emphasis of my practice is on working with adults, both individually and in groups, and I strive to engage with each person in a collaborative and holistic process of growth and change. I use a variety of theories and interventions, always working to find the best fit between the unique individual, the issues they face, and one or more proven, research-based approaches. My therapeutic style includes Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Solution-Focused, Reality, mindfulness-based, and Hypnotherapies. I have worked with clients dealing with such issues as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, addictions, and grief and loss. , I am a registered psychologist with a doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. I have worked in a variety of different clinical settings, including private practice, university counselling centres, and a hospital clinic, and I have served as an Assistant Professor teaching Psychology to graduate students. , I also have wide-ranging experience working with people who want to focus on personal growth and self-improvement, and I have a particular interest in LGBTQ-specific issues such as navigating the coming-out process and dealing with discrimination.
