Change and development are processes that occur over the lifespan. Our capacity to manage can be overwhelmed by what is going on around us and our internal state. I will join you in considering the mechanism behind what is happening for you, integrating your experiences, and making meaning of your thoughts, behaviours, emotions, and sensations to move forward. Becoming a parent is a transition that often comes with many stressors and complexities that may or may not be anticipated. I am passionate about supporting people through the process of becoming a parent and parenting small children. View 5 Photos, Through my specialized training in parental mental health and experience of becoming a parent, I have reflected on how our experiences, past and present, influence how we show up in our families and our communities. I will support you by listening, being curious and reflecting on what you bring into this space. , My approach is collaborative, pragmatic, and integrative. I draw on cognitive behavioural, solution focused, trauma informed, and developmental neuroscience approaches to inform my practice. Whether you are beginning your fertility journey, are pregnant, are a new parent, or have been parenting for awhile I hope to support you on your journey.
