I am a Registered Psychologist with 25 years experience in mental health including being a mental health nurse from the UK. My areas of expertise include anxiety disorders - generalised anxiety, health anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias, OCD, adjustment/ life transitions, self-esteem, trauma/PTSD, and adult ADHD. If you are struggling and feeling overwhelmed and want to learn new ways to deal with unhelpful thoughts and behaviour, I am able to help. I bring warmth, humour, experience and professionalism, creating a supportive environment that facilitates change and growth, so you can achieve your personal goals. , I am a certified Master ART Therapist (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), a fast and effective treatment for trauma and other problems including anxiety and depression. I also provide CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tailored to your needs to help you develop new skills to cope more effectively and ultimately become your own therapist. , I have a special interest in PTSD and trauma including childhood trauma, interpersonal violence eg rape, robbery, and homicide, health and medical trauma, accidents and injuries, and natural disasters, as well as in OCD, and adult ADHD, recognising the impact it has on daily functioning, mood, self-esteem, and relationships.
