The decision to start therapy is a courageous first step towards understanding, healing and growth. Whether you struggle with relationships, persistent troubling thoughts or feelings, are overwhelmed by events that are out of your control or just want to get in touch with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your life, therapy can help. , I work with many clients who are experiencing a variety of difficulties that may include depression, anxiety, grief, stress, insomnia, self esteem, identity concerns and life transition issues. I also have extensive training in working with those impacted by traumas including complex trauma from childhood adverse experiences. , My style as a therapist is a mix of being authentic, compassionate, down to earth, honest, direct and humorous. I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is a positive and trusting relationship in which you feel heard and understood; as such, I strive to create a relaxed, safe and supportive space to work through sensitive and challenging topics.
