About Us

I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst serving OR and KY. I work primarily with mental health professionals, physicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and people in transition in their personal or professional identity. Most people begin therapy with me to improve their mood, sleep, or a more general sense of deep suffering. I can help understand patterns of distressing conflicts in one or more areas of your life such that you feel less isolated by intense emotions and build anew patterns in relating. , My work is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy and evidence-based practices. I work with clients to improve regulation in mood, reduce or stop substance use, manage person or professional transitions, address chronic pain, or improve relationships. Many people work with me to reduce or stop psychiatric medication. , Meaningful improvement is possible. Starting with an initial consultation, we develop an understanding of your strengths and areas of suffering or improvement. Treatment is tailored to fit you and may include integrating medicine and expanding your personal practices. My primary focus is facilitating positive change through a therapeutic relationship.
