I am a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of EKU. I started my nursing career as a psychiatric RN. A few of my professional research interests are integrating alternative treatments into mental healthcare, and furthering our reach with technology. I have a master’s degree in nursing informatics and a post master’s degree as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner across the lifespan. I love seeing individuals of all ages. , My primary focus is medication evaluation and management. However, I understand there are varying levels of comfort with conventional medications. I am happy to discuss conventional and alternative medicine in order to expand treatment option offerings. , I believe that an important part of practice is establishing a good relationship and compromising by discussing all options, conventional and alternative, then deciding together.
