About Us

I believe in an intuitive "inner intelligence"\xa0that binds us together and allows us to heal and be healed. This means that a diagnosis or a prescription pad isn\t sufficient to treat complex mind-body-heart challenges such as depression or anxiety. My work is focused on creating and utilizing deep therapeutic relationships to discover and bring light to the shadows of the unconscious. These unconscious processes often contributing to dis-ease in day-to-day life. I believe we are all fellow-travelers seeking our own highest truth. I am accepting patients in IL, MN, MT, SD, IA, FL, VA, CA, OR, NE. , As a holistic psychiatrist, I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy as part of my standard practice. I see most of my patients once to twice weekly and engage in depth-oriented/trauma-informed psychotherapy along with medication management. All of my standard appointments are 60 minutes in length. , I offer telehealth for most visits. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is done in person only (San Francisco/Bay area and Chicagoland area). Please note that I do not utilize benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin) or stimulants (e.g. Adderall, Ritalin) as part of my regular practice.
