About Us

I am currently full and not taking on new clients. I specialize in mood, anxiety and trauma disorders. I work with clients who struggle with the ways they behold themselves and intimate others in their lives. In my practice, I use a psychoanalytic approach, and I strive to listen deeply without judgement. My aim is to help you notice the frustrating, painful and repetitive patterns in your experiences so that you might feel more capable of making different choices and living a fuller, richer life. Medications may or may not be part of our treatment plan. , I went to medical school at Brown University in RI and completed my psychiatric residency at Northwestern in Chicago. I am currently a candidate at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute. This means that my training and practice have roots in the biological sciences, but that I have long been committed to psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. , I am conducting all sessions via telehealth. I am in-network for some Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO and Aetna PPO plans. Please verify with your insurance provider in advance of our appointment. I am not in-network for Blue Choice PPO.
