I know from experience the decision to get treatment for a mental health struggle is sometimes difficult and I start every session with a new patient using a simple strategy: Listen first. My goal is to use the information I receive listening closely to formulate a treatment plan that will help us choose the medications that have the best chance of helping you get healthy and stay healthy over time. During our first session we will discuss: Relevant symptoms, potential underlying diagnostic processes, and short and long term goals related to mental treatment options.
