My name is Natalie Doyleygreen and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Nursing has been a wonderful journey for the past 15 years; I emphasize treating each individual as a unique body due to the huge diversity in my community. Cultural competency plays an essential role when serving as a provider. I choose to become a Psychiatric nurse practitioner to serve my community. I believe in treating everyone with respect and honesty. My ultimate goal is to incorporate evidence-based practice, culture, and altruism to provide the best care for my patients. , My journey began over 20 years ago while working in a hospital and noticing that mental illness was grossly underserved. The stigma was real, and speaking about mental illness was not normalized. , I am driven by a passion for helping others. I have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental illnesses. Personal experiences have also inspired me in this field. The fulfillment comes from seeing patients improve and lead a more productive life.
