NP Laurel Darlington is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in TX & FL with her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University. She is experienced with adults and adolescents in prescribing and supportive psychotherapy and specializes in treating anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts in History and a certificate in Women’s Studies from University of Wisconsin- Madison. She has been a nurse View 4 Photos, for almost 20 years and brings a holistic health approach to treatment. In addition to her nursing background in labor and delivery, she trained as a doula and hypnobirthing practitioner. Laurel is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and worked as a licensed massage therapist with advanced training including orthopedic, craniosacral, and , shiatsu. Her experiences with meditation and mindfulness also inform her practice. Laurel is experienced with providing informed mental health care to individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and has been involved in advocacy since coming out as a teenager.
