I am a double-board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience as a nurse in the Emergency Department opened my eyes to the lack of resources that exist for many individuals dealing with psychiatric symptoms and ignited a passion for helping clients establish trustworthy and stable care as well as prevent hospitalizations. This experience deeply influenced my decision to practice psychiatry and affected my approach to mental health care. , In treating you, I will listen and take the time to get to know you, understand your problems, see how these problems are impacting your daily life. I will incorporate and guide you and your family in the treatment process so that you can start feeling the way you have always wanted to feel. , I conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management and when appropriate provide solution-focused psychotherapeutic interventions based on CBT I offer both virtual and in-person appointments for age 15 and older, and I also speak Spanish.
