Finding a psychiatrist can be a daunting task for yourself or for your child. Fortunately, as a Board Certified Child/Adolescent & Adult psychiatrist, I have the skills to help you feel at ease. I have appointment times available within the week that you call. My desire is to do a thorough evaluation and to not make you feel rushed. I have experience treating and managing a range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders in children. I also have worked with adolescents with substance abuse disorders, and women with mood disorders related to pregnancy. , I worked in busy hospital and outpatient settings in NYC, Virginia, Hawaii and the East Coast of Florida before to returning back to Sarasota to start my private practice. I will do a complete medical and psychiatric assessment, then give recommendations if therapy and/or medications are needed. , I grew up in the Sarasota area, have travelled extensively in the US and abroad.
