About Us

I am a psychiatrist in private practice in Washington, DC and treat adults, young and older adolescents. As I was a pediatrician prior to becoming a psychiatrist, I am particularly interested in working with older adolescents and young adults who face a multitude of challenges as they progress into adulthood. Unlike many psychiatrists who prescribe medication only, I work with my clients through understanding and helping them in psychotherapy as well as providing expert treatment with the latest psychiatric medications. , While I am experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of major psychiatric conditions, my major focus is on persons suffering from depression and other related mood disorders. I can provide Transcranial magnetic stimulation and ECT for treatment of refractory cases of depression. I have vast experience in treating Opioid Use Disorder. , I will provide my clients with the necessary support during crisis situations and then transition to more targeted therapeutic interactions as my clients progress in their treatment journey! I hope to build a strong therapeutic alliance and provide a nurturing , safe environment that fosters growth and resilience!
