About Us

In this Chester County & Wilmington practice, Dr. Heather John, MD, works with adults (18 or older) with a variety of mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal issues, & sleep issues. Her therapeutic approach is also influenced by residency training in cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and reproductive psychiatry (the treatment of women in pregnancy and postpartum). , " Dr. Johns undergraduate degree is in Human Biology, from Stanford University, and she has a Ph.D. in History, with a concentration in the History of Science and Medicine, from Yale University. She is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, and she completed her psychiatry residency at UCLA. "
