Prof. Mam Chandra Is A Renowned Physician And Gastroenterologist Of The State. He Retired As A HOD Medicine And Gastroenterology From KGMU Lko.He Passed His M.B.B.S. And MD(Medicine) From King George's Medical College In 1969 And 1973 Respectively.He Topped Both The Examination And Achieve 18 Gold Medals, 6 Certificates Of Honors And Several Other Prizes Totaling To 32.He Was Appointed In The Department Of Medicine In 1974. He Was Awarded Commonwealth Fellowship For One-year Training At Leeds, University OfUK In 1983 To 1984 In Medical Gastroenterology.He Established The First Unit Of Gastroenterology In UP In The Department Of Medicine In KGMU In 1985. He Was Actively Involved Teaching Training And Research. He Guided 90 MD Thesis, Imparted Training In Gastroenterology To The Various Physician. He Published More Than 120 Research Papers In National And International Journals.He Is Also Involved In Charitable Activities Through Astha Health Foundation A Leading NGO. He Is Also A Yoga Teacher.
