He had trained for his undergraduate education from University college of Medical Sciences , and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Delhi which is a renowned medical college situated in the state of Delhi. Later on he went on to do Senior Residency and was chosen to be in an academic and teaching position as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) which is a tertiary care autonomous organization working with the problems of Brain and Mind.He was able to earn many laurels during his career as a Psychiatrist and mental health professional including being awarded the Ravi Pandey memorial award for the best young Psychiatrist by the Delhi Psychiatric Society.He possesses a never ending zeal and dedication towards healing the problems related to brain and mind. He has often been described as a calm, dedicated, and warm clinician by patients, peers and superiors working with him.
