About Me

Dr. Kamal Bachani is an acclaimed Orthopedic Surgeon who currently serves as the Director of Orthopedics at A O Speciality in South Delhi and as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Orthopedics unit at Columbia Asia Hospital in Gurgaon. Prior to these positions, he held the role of HOD Orthopedics at Asian Institute of Medical Sciences in Faridabad. Dr. Bachani has an impressive educational background, having completed his MBBS, MCH (Ortho), MS (Ortho), OCM Fellowship in adult reconstruction and arthroscopy in Germany, an International Shoulder Reconstruction Fellowship in South Korea, a Fellowship at AIIMS in New Delhi, and an Arthroscopy-Arthroplasty TR in Australia, Singapore G-H. He has vast experience in performing a wide range of surgeries, with his areas of specialization being the Shoulder, Hip, and Knee. Dr. Bachani is particularly well-regarded for his expertise in Joint Replacement Surgery, including primary and revision Joint Replacement Surgery for the hip and knee joint, as well as Shoulder Replacement. He is also skilled in osteotomy around the knee for early arthritis or deformity of the bone and trauma management based on AO principles, particularly around the hip, knee, and shoulder joint. Aside from surgery, Dr. Bachani is also an expert in arthroscopic and sports injury management, having been trained as a minimally invasive surgery (MIS) fellow. He is sought after for his management of complex trauma and pediatric surgery cases. Throughout his career, Dr. Bachani has held leadership positions at various hospitals, including Nova Specialty Hospital in Kailash Colony, Fortis in Vasant Kunj, and Max Smart-Saket City Hospital. He is a member of the teaching faculty and a certified DNB teacher, as well as a visiting consultant at some of Delhi's leading hospitals.
